These past two days have been so uneventful that I might only be able to write 1 or 2 pages about them! (I know that I write a lot in these things)
Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I woke up at 9:30, got dressed (very important), took a shower, etc. Y'know the norm. I then proceeded to walk down to that wonderful fruit and veggies shop that I've mentioned once or twice now and got some razzberries, apples, and bananas, and let me tell you. If there is one thing that is distincly better about Germany than America it has to be the fruit. I'm not even kidding when I say that eating those razzberries has been one of the great hilights of this entire trip. If there were a command to upload fruit onto this blog I would do it, but I can't, and I can't even begin to describe how heavenly they were either, so I guess that all is for naught.
The rest of the day was pretty laid back. I took Oma for a walk in the wheelchair. Showed her around Koblenz a bit, got some coffee and cake, got some more fruit, and that was pretty much it. It wasn't really anything too special (except for the fruit). I also got on the internet in the evening, but instead of posting her I just called Kelsi via Skype instead. I really didn't have much to say
Today was almost as equally uneventful. I got up late, walked over to the hospital to see Oma, and had a short conversation. After that I walked down to the laundomat to do some laundry. Of course the real problem with that was that I had no real idea where exactly the laundomat was. This is the part where good old murphy's law kicked in and I got caught in a rainstorm. I guess that it wasn't too big of a deal. My pants just got a little wet (luckily I had my rain jacket) and my guitar was unscathed. I played some music while I did laundry and then walked back to the hospital and took Oma for another spin. We also got some more fruit and a couple of pilsners (good dark beer). I have naturally already eaten the razzberries, and will prolly have one of the pilsners when I get back to the apartment.
I just got a couple of emails from the insurance company and they are definitly not sending me back with Oma, and they even upgraded her ticket to first class. How cool is that!
Now for the little pointless section of the blog:
I have actually made 10,80€ from guitar playing! I haven't played on the street anymore, but I found another 50 cent piece in the case when I opened it up today.
I also have some good riffs down for about 5 more songs.
As a closing note I have to say that the new Dream Theater album is completely amazing! I've listened to the whole thing on youtube, and holy hell is it awesome!
I'll write again soon... I always seem to find a way to
