So I kind of almost actually have some real news! The doctors say that they tenatively want tokeep Oma 'til friday. If all works out like it looks like it will now we will catch a train from Koblenz to Köln to Brussels, Belgium where Oma will catch her originally scheduled flight at 11:00 to Dallas. As of right now I have not heard anything new from the Insurance company, meaning that they probably aren't going to send me back early.
Aside from that, I'm not sure wether or not I mentioned this earlier, but walter actually told the hospital when he was helping us out that I was only 17, which apparently was the only reason that they let me have a room in the hospital at all. Not to worry though. Now I have an even sweeter pad. You see, the hospital has an apartment complex for all of the nurses and employees about a block away, and it just so happens that they are renting me an apartment for only 35€ per day. WHAT A STEAL! It has a kitchen, livingroom, bathroom, the whole 9 yards. The only problem is that now I have to feed myself. Not to fear though! I found a place just down on the corner that sells fruit and veggies (I might have mentioned it earlier... I don't really remember) but it's all good, because I can eat both healthily and cheaply at the same time. Also I have a kitchen too, so I can always cook myself something or other.
Aside from that though, there is not much other real news so I'll just say the more pointless things. I decided to go out and play my guitar once more today and made 5,20€ more, bringing me to a grand total of 10,50€ HELL YEAH!
In other news I have secretly been keeping count of some very specific stereotypes, and other interesting things I've see. Here are the counts thus far:
People wearing Lederhosen: 1 (but I found a place where I can buy them for 5€ a pair! can you say souveniers)
Women with long golden braids: 0
Women named Heidi: 2
McDonalds: 5
Subways: also 5
Shops with funny names: I lost count, but got pix
Anyways I'm about to get booted again.

Thats great! I am really glad your Oma is doing better! I hope that works out! Cause that means you can stayt longer and I know that you have been seriously looking forward to that...
